The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 12.20.010 of the Palo Alto
Munic!pal Code, Schedules W-1 (General Water Service), ll-1-B (Re-
claimed trater Service), and W-1-0 (General Water Servtce) of the
Palo Alto Utilities Rates and Charges hereby are amended to read
as shown on "Sheets Ho. 108k, 108.la, and 109k" attached hereto
and incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. The Council of the City of Palo Alto finds that the
revenue derived from the adjustment of said rates shall be used only
for the purposes set forth in the Palo Alto City Charter, Article
VII, Section 2. entitled "Public Utilities Revenue.n Therefore, the
adoption of this resolution and the rate adjustments are specifically
exemptr:d under Public Resources Code Section 21080 (b) (8) from t~1e
requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act.
SECTION 3. The foregoing change shall become effective July 1,
1979.
