A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ENGINEER'S REPORT
AND ASSESSMENT ROLL
CALIFORNIA AVENUE AREA OFFSTREET PARKING
PROJECT NO. 71-63

ORIGjNAL
RESOLVED, by the Counci 1 of the City of Palo Alto, California, that
WHEREAS, after proceedings to that end duly had and taken pursuant to
the Palo Alto Municipal Code, a public hearing has been duly held on the
Engineer's Report and assessment roll prepared for the fiscal year 1979-80 to
pay the principal and interest on bonds issued pursuant to Resolution of
Intention No. 4993, adopted by the Council of the City of Palo Alto on
Septetdler 10, 1974;
WHEREAS, this Council has heard all persons having an interest in any
r-eal property within the parking assess."nent district; has heard al 1
objections. PMtests or other written conmunications from any persons
i nter-ested in the real prcperty within said d1str1ct; has taken and received
oral and documentary evidence pertaining to the matters contained in said
report; has l'"E!IDed1ed and corrected ar.y errors or informalities in the report
and revised and corrected any of the r.cts or cte-::erminations of the various
City officials as contained then. ~; and is fully informed in the 9remises;
NOW. THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED. as follows:
1. That sa f d Engineer's Report and assess.ntent ro 11, and each of
the a~sessments therein as duly revised and corrected, is hereby approved and
confirmed&
2. That said report together with the certificate of the City
Clerk as to the fact and date of approval by this Council, shall forthwith be
de 11 vered to the County of Santa C 1 ara, and the proper County officer sha 11
cause to be posted to the tax rolls, in the colt111n provided ther~for, the
amount of each of the assessments proposed to be levied and collected for said
fiscal year as set forth 1n said report as confh"!n~d.

I hereby certify that the foregoing 1s a f~ll, true and correct copy of
a resolution duly passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Palo Alto,
Californ1a1 at a meeting thereof held on the 11th day of June , 1979,

California, pursuant to the provisions of the Palo Alto Municipal Code, adopted its
kesolution of Intention No. 4993 for the acquisition and construction of the public
improvements more particularly therein ~escribed;
VHEREAS1 said Resolution of Xntention and Municipal Code directed the City
Engineer to make and file a report and assessme~t of and upon the suLdivisions
of land vithin the assessm~at dis~~ict, to which Resolution refe!ence is hereby·

. powe-r vested in me under said Code and tho order of thC!: Council of said City,

·And I do hereby assess and apportion said portion of said total amount
upon the several lots. pie~es.or par~els or portions of lots rr subdivisions
of land liable therefor and benefited thereby. upon each, sev~rally and respec-
tively, in proportion to the benefits to be received by such subdivisions,
respectively, from the acquisition and improvements. and more particularly set
forth in the 11.st hereto attached and b>: reference made a part h_ereof.
Said assessment is made upon the several subdivisions. of land within
said assessment district in proportion to the estimated benefits to be received
by said subdivistons, respectively, from said improvement. and in accordance
with the req~irements of said Resolution of Intention and.said Code.
And because the several owners are unknown to me, said names are not
set opposite the assessor's parcel number of each subdivision of land assessed,
:r.nd the amount· a~sessed thereon. For a more particular description of said
property, reference is hereby made to the deeds and maps on file and of record ·
in the office of the County Recorder.
Hotice is hereby given that ~erial bonds in the total -principal amount
