RECOGNIZING THE PRE~ENCE OF, ANO WELCOMING TO THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ENSCHtOE REPRESENTATIVE
WHEREAS, cultural exchange resu1t1ng from people-to-people conmun1cat1on
1s the foundat1on of the Sister City Program wh1ch attempts to further

WHEREAS, JANNA VAN DER SCHOOR-HANNEWIJK 1s welcomed to the C1ty of Palo

objective of the two c1t1es, that of attempting to promote end encourage and
cultivate understdnd1ng between the people of the two connun1t1es; and
WHEREAS, this exchange prngram has proven tc be mutually benef1c1al;
NOW, THEREFORE the Counc11 of the C1ty of Palo Alto does RESOLVE 1$
follows:
S~CTION 1: That thfs ·Counet1 recognize~ the presence of, JANNA VAN DER SCHOOR-HANNEWIJK and we1comes JANNA VAN DER SCHOOR-HANNEWIJK
to this conrnun1ty from our s11ter of Enschede.
SECTION 2: That this Council on behalf of the people of Palo Alto
