Home My WebLink AboutRESO 5685r • •• ORIGINAL RESOLUTION NO. 5685 --- RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO ORDERING ANNEXATION OF THE TERRITORY CCJttMONLY KNOWN AS SAN FRANCISQUITO ANNEXATION NO. 2 TO THE CITY OF PALO ALTO WHEREAS, on May 2, 1979, Resolution No. 19··78 was adopted by the Santa Clara Local Agency Formation Commission approving the annexation to the City of Palo AlLo of that certain uninhabited territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein 1:1 this reference and shown on the map attached hereto As Exhibit "Bu and incorporate:! herein by this reference, said prop,osed annexation being designated as "San Francisquito Annexation 'No. 2'; and WHEREAS~ the owners of all of the property within the territory pro- ~osed to be annexed have given their written cons~nt to the proposed an- lh .. _'( ,tion, and pursuant to Govermnent Code Section 35221 .md the afC're- m~ht.oned Re~olution No. 79-78 of the Santa Clara Local Agency Formation Commission, the City of Palo Alto is authorized to annex said territory without notice and hearing and without election. NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: SECTION 1. The annexatio~ to the tity of Palo Alto of that certain uninhabited territory desiflnated as "San Francisquito Annexation No. 2" and describe.d in Exhj.bits 'A" and "B" hereto is hereby approv~d 1tnd ordered. -~-~~ SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed to make such submittals and filings as may be required by law to cOlllplete annexation ?roceedings. SECTION_1..
