Home My WebLink AboutRESO 5683' • • ,~ I ORIGINAL • RESOLUTION NO. 5683 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO ORDERING ANNEXATION OF THE TERRITORY COMMONLY KNOWU AS BAYSHORE-EMBARCADERO ANNEXAT!ON NO. 4 TO THE CITY OF PALO ALTO WHEREAS, on May 2, 1979, Re~olution No. 79-76 was adopted by the S4nta ClaTa Local Agency Formation Ctiii'.!Dliesion apprJving the annexation to the City of Palo Alto of that certain uninhabited terri~ory described in Exhibit "A" a~tached hereto and incc:".'porated herein by this reference and shown on the map atturhed hereto as Exhibit uB" and incorporated herein by this reference, said proposed annexation being designated as "Bayshore-Embarcadero Annexation Ne. 4"; and WHEREAS, the mmers of all of the property withJn the territory pro- posed to be annexed have given their wri~ten consent to the pronosed an- nexation, and pursuant to Government Code Section 35221 and the afore- mentioned Re~olution No. 79-76 of the Santa Clara Local Agency FormatiDn COlIDllission, the City of Palo Alto is authorized to annex said territory without notice and hearing and without election. NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: SECTION 1. The annexation to the City of Palo Alto of that certain uninnaliited territory designated as "Bayshore-Embarcadero Annexation No. !}" and desc::ibed in Exhibits "A" and "B" hereto is hereby approved and ordered. SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed to make such submtttals and filings as ma; be required by law to canplete annexation proceedings. SECTION 3.
