RESOLUTION OF T~tE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
DESIGNATING STEVE HAYASHI CITY REPRESENTATIVE REGARDING
S'l'ATE GRANT FOR SUBREGIONAL ADV.l\NCED WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLAN'!'
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto receives State grant moneys
for the financing of the City~s Subregional Advc-nced Wastewater
Treat.~ent Plant, pursuant to Project Grant No. C-06-1076-1101
WHEREAS, on July 21, 1975, the City Council by Resolution No.
5112 design~ted Ray Remmel, the Chief Engineer ~f the City Water,
Gas, Sewer Division, as the City representative for said project grant;
WHEREAS, Mr.-Re.mmel is authorized as City representative for
such project, to execute project change orders and payment requests
or, behalf of the City of Palo Alto;
WHEREAS, Mr. Re.-rnmel is temporarily unable to perform his duties
due to illness:
NOW, THEBEFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION l: Steve Hayashi, superintendent of the City Water Quality
Control Plant, is hereby designated the City representative, in place
of Mr~ Ray Remmel, for Project Grant No. C-06-1076-110 with similar
authority to execute project change orders anci payment requests on
behalf of the City of Palo Alto until Mr. Ray RemJl'el resw.nes his prior
duties with the City of Palo Alto.
SECTION 2. The Council of the City of Palo Alto finds that this
is not a pro)ect under the California Environmental Quality Act and,
therefore, no environmental impact assessment is necessary.
