RESOLUTION NO. 5641 ------
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' PALO ALTO
A."!ENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5372 TO CLARIFY THE USE OF
MONIES IN THE CALIFORNIA AVI:NUE ARr:A OFFSTREET
PARKING DISTRICT CAPITAL OUTLAY FUND
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5372 established a special fund desig-
nated as the California Avenue Area Offstreet Parking District
Capital Outlay Fund; and
WHEREAS, said fund was designated for the acquisition and
construction of traffic and parking improvements within the District
and consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to further clarify the uses to which
said fund may be put.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. Resolution NO. 5372, paragraph No. 2 is hereby
amended"toread as follows:
"2. Monies in the Fund shall be used and withdrawn solely
for the acquisition, construction and maintenance of
traffic and parking improvements and street facilities and
furniture within the District ~onsistent with the City's
Comprehensive Plan. Authorized improvements shall include,
but not be limited to, improvement of public streets and
parkin9 areas, and tree maintenance, removal and replace-
ment. 11
SECTION 2. All other provisions of Resolution 5372 shall
remain in full force and-~effect.
SECTION 3. The Council finds that none of the provisions of
this resolution will have a significant adverse environmental impact.
