AH OVERHEAD ELECTRIC EASEMEUT AlID SETTIHG OF A
PUBLIC HEARIUG TifilREFOR . (ALTA MESA CEMETERY)
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Council of the City of Palo
Alto to vacate certain public utility easements in the City of Palo
Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of California as described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and shown on a map marked Exhibit "B"
attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, a new underground public utility easement has been
granted to the City to replace that overhead easement.
HOW, TiillREFORE, the Council of the City o_f Palo Al to does RESOLVE
as follows-:
SECTIOlt 1. That pursuarrt· to· the provisions of Section 50438 of
the Government Code of the State· -of California, the Council of the
City of Palo Alto does hereby declare its intention to vacate a public
utility ea.l&ement in th"e-City of ·Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara,
Stat2 of California, as described in Exhibit "A11 attached hereto and
as shown on a map marked Exhibit "B" attached hereto and placed on
-file in the offic~ of the City Clerk.
SECTIOH 2~ The Counc~l hereby orders that a publi~·hearing take
place on f£..:ct·12. l979i in the Council Chambers, 250 Hamilton
Avenue, Palo Alto. California for all persons interested in the pro-
posed vacation;
·sECTIOU 3. The Council hereby-declares that this is not a pro-
ject as defined.in Section 11.04;130 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code,
therefore, no environmental impact assessment is necessary.
