RESOLUTION NO. 5625
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ADOPTING Ai.\I AMENDMENT TO 'l'HE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN f'OR
THE DEVELOPMEN'l' OF THE CITY. OF PALO AL'l'O
WHEREAS, the Planning Conunis~ion conducted a review and
on November 29, 1978, held a properly noticed public hearing
to consider certain amendments to the Palo Alto Comprehensive
Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a properly noticed public
hearing to consider amendments to the Palo Alto Comprehensive
Plan on December 18, 1978 ..
NOW, THEREFORE, the Coun~il of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1.. The City Council finds that changed conditions
and the public interest, health, safety and welfare require that
certain amendment to the Pale Alto Comprehensive Plan set forth
in paragraph 2 hereof.
SECTION 2. The Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan is hereby
amended as follows and as shown on the map attached hereto as
Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein:
a. Change the-land use designation of an approximately
20 acres at the· -end of Laurel Glen Drive from Publicly-owned
Conservation Land to Open Space ••• Controlled Development.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby finds that the adop-
tion or the amendment to the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan set
forth in paragraph 2 hereof will not cause any significant environ-
mental impacts.
