RESOLU'l'lON OF THE COUt!CIL OF THE CITY OF Pl.LO ALTO
ADOP'I'lNG i\N i'\MENDMEN'l' TO 'l'HE COMPHEHENSIVE PLJ\N FOR
THE DEVELOPMEN'l' OF. THE Cl'l'Y OF PALO AL'fO
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a review and
on August 16, 1978, held a· properly noticed public hearing to
consider cer.tain amendments to the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan;
and
WHEREAS, on Auqust 16, 1978, the Planning Commission con-
tinued for 60 days the matter of amending the Comprehensive
Plan Land Use Map on the easterly side of Bryant Street between
Pee and Hawthorne; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission completed its review on
October 18, 1978, and by resolution recommended to the City
Council modification to the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan Land
Use Map; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a properly noticed public
hearing to consider amendments to the Palo Alto Comprehensive
Flan on November 20, 1978.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds that changed conditions
and the public interest, health, safety and welfare require
that certain amendment to the Palo Alto Comp:cehensive Plan set
forth in paragraph 2 hereof.
SECTION 2. The Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan is hereby
amended as follows and as shown on the map attached hereto as
Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein:
a. Change the land use designation of the property
at 165 Bryant from Single Family Residential to Multiple Family
Residential.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby finds that the adoption
of the amendment to the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan set forth
in paragraph 2 hereof will not cause any significant environmental
impacts.
