WHEREAS, SAMUEL NORMAN has diligently anJ unselfishly 1.'.ontributcd
of his time and talents while serving as a member of the Rental Housing
Mediation Task Force from July 1, 1976 to August 31, 1978; and
WHEREAS, SAMUEL NORMAN has worked untiringly in mediating disputes
between landlord:. and tenants and in other activities designed to improve
the quality of n~r.tal housing in the community; and
WHEREAS, S~IUEL NORMAN has made a significant personal contribution
to the community through his efforts in facilitating harmonious and fair
rental housing relationships among tenants, owners and managers in Palo
Alto; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to express its
appreciation to SAMUEL NORMAN for his outstanding efforts in the public
interest;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo
Alto hereby expresses its appreciation and commends SAMUEL NOPJ.fAN for
his public service as a member of the Rental Housing Mediation Task Force.
