RESOLCTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CI'l'Y OF PALO ALTO
ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR
THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a review and
on August 16, 1978, held a properly noticed public hearing to
consider certain amendments to the Palo Alto ComprP.hensive Plan:
and
WHEREAS, the city council held a properly noticed public
hearing to consider amendments to the Palo Alto Comprehensive
Plan on August 28, 1978.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds that chanqed conditions
and the public 1nterest, health, safety and welfare require that
certain amendment to the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan set forth
in paragraph 2 hereof.
SECTION 2. The Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan is hereby amended
as follows and as shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A~
and incorporated herein~
a. Change the land use designation of the property at
3606 El Camino Real from Multiple Family Residential to Neighbor-
hood Commercial;
SECTION3. ·The City council hereby finds thl\t. the adoption
of the amendment to the Palo Alto Comprehensi·;;e Plan set forth in
paragraph 2 hereof will not cause any significant environmental
impacts.
