RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO ANNE STEINBERG ·
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF
THE PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Anne Steinberg has served the City of Palo Alto
as a member of the Planning Conmission from July 26, 1971 to
July 31, 1978; and
WHEREASt Anne Steinberg served as Vice Chairperson of the
Planning Cormiission from August 1, 1974 to July 31, 1975; and
_ WHEREAS, Anne Steinberg served as Chairperson from August 1, 1975
to July 31, 1978; and
WHEREAS, Anne Steinberg has given unselfishly of her time
and talents to assist in guiding the growth and development
of the City 1n the best interest 'Jf the total conmunity; and
WHEREAS, Anne Steinberg has made a significant personal
contribution to the comnunity through her diligent and conscientious
efforts while serving--~~ .s.-member of the nann1ng Comn1ss1on; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to reeognize the service of Anne Steinberg:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation, as well
as the appreciation of the citizens of this CORll!'lJnity, for the
outstanding publ it service i<endered by Anne Steinberg.
