HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 5568• _., .. • • ORIGINAL RESOLUTION NO. 5568 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2952 TO MODIFY THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS 400-412 PEPPER · AVENUE AND ZONED P-C (PLANNED COMMUNITY), SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS WHEREJ~s, on October 26, 1976, the Council adopted Ordinance Noo 2952 amending Section 18008.040 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code to change the zoning classification from M-2-S (General Industrial District Regulati'bns -S~ecial Parking District Regulations) to P-C (Planned Community) and approved the Development Plan . (marked "Exhibit A") of certain property known as 400-412 Pepper Avenue, and WHEREAS, on November 29, 1976, the Council adopted the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan which designates property for single familyo NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: SECTION lu The Development Plan approved by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2952 is hereby modified as shown on the documents attached as Exhibit "A" o.nd incorporated herein by this reference, subject to the following conditions: a~ Use: Six residential units as shown on the approved development plans. ho Improvements: (1) Structures, off-street parking, traffic circulation, landscaping and all other improve.~ents shall he substantially as shown on the approved development plane The section of wall along the property line between the proposed garage and the inside corner of the Bleibler building shall be constructed between 8 feet and the height of the Bleibler building. (2) That a final landscape plan and the paving pattern in the courtyard be submitted for Architectural Review Board Review. (3) All construction and development shall comply with all applicable codes and ordinances and with the requirements of the Chief of the City of Palo Alto Fire Department and the City Manager.. c~ ~evelopment Schedule: Start of construction within 12 month3 of City Council approvalo Completion of all construction and improvement within one year of the start of construction. • f • SECTION 2. All other provisions of Ordinance 2952 shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. This change of P-C District Development Plan is necessary for the public interest, safety, convenience and welfare. SEC'rION 4. The Council finds that the proposed project will not have a significant impact upon the environment.
