RESOLllTION NO. 5552
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO EDWARD R. OBLANDER
UPON HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, Edward R. Oblander retired on May 7, 1978 as Police
lieutenant after twenty years of continuous service with the City of
Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is proud of his work perfonnance and
appreciative of his efforts and dedication toward municipal services;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Palo Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation as well as the
appreciation of the citizens of this co1m1unity for faithful service
rendered to the City and extends to Edward R. Oblander its sincere best
wishes for a long and happy retirement.
