RESOLUTION NO. 5550
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING FILING OF NOTICE OF DETERMINATION
CALIFORNIA AVENUE AREA BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
WHEREAS, the City staff has duly processed a negative declara-
tion covering the California Avenue Area Beautification Project in the
time, form and manner required by the California Environmental Quality
Act and by law; and
WHEREAS, this Council has d.uly read and considered said negative
declaration and is fully informed in the premises,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is ORDERED as follows:
l. The negative declaration for the California Avenue Area Beauti-
fication Project is hereby approved and declared to be legally adequate
and effective~ · ·
2. Said project.is hereby approved, subject to the taking of
speci~l assessment and assessment bond proceedings for the construc-
tion and financing thereof. ·
. 3. The City Planning Officer is hereby authorized and 4.irected
to file a Notice of Determination as to said project in the office of
the County Clerk in the form and manrier required by law.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct
copy of a Resolution duly passed and ~dopted by the City Council of
the City of Palo Alto, California, at a meeting thereof held on the
22nd day ~f May, 1978, by the following vote of the members thereof;
