RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2533 TO MODIFY THE DEVELOPMENT
PLAN FOR THE P~C DISTRICT KNOWN AS 3000 EL CAMINO
REAL AND 755 PAGE MILL ROADI SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS
The Counci·:. of .the City of Palo Al to does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2533, adopted Septem-
ber 22, 1§li;9, hereby is amended to modify the Development Plan
for the P-C District at 3000 El Camino ~al and 755 Page Mill
Road in accordance with EXHIBIT A attached hereto and incorpor~ted
herein, and by adding to such section the following conditions:
1. Uses: With respect to that portion of the property
shown on EXHIBIT A, section 2 of Ordinance No. 2533 is amended
to allow only the following uses:
a. Financial services such as banks, brokerage
firme, title companies, insur~&c~ firms and similar uses.
b. Professional, administrative and executive offices.
c. A restaurant located as indicated on EXHIBIT
A.
d. A recreation center not to exceed 15,000 square
feet in area and located as shown on EXHIBIT A.
··e. -Twelve (12) residential units shall be provided,
as shown on EXHIBIT A.
f. Those agreements which have been made in the
mitigated negative declaration (File No. :77-EIA-76), including

the site southward, across the. Southern Pacific spur-track
through the parking lot of the building at 1oo·sansen way, are
re hereby incorporated into this Resolution by reference.
Prior to issuance of a certificate of occupancy for the subject
property the applicants shall execute documents satisfactory
in form-to the City Attorney, and as deemed necessary by the •
City Attorney, to insure performance of those agreements.
2. Improvements:
a. Buildings, off street parking, landscaping and
other improvements shall be substantially as shown 011 EXHIBIT
A.
b. Vehicle ingress and egress to Page Kill Road
and Hansen Way shall be substantially as shown on EXHIBIT A,
except for revisions as may be required by CALTRANS, the County
of Santa Clara Transportation Division, and/or the City of
Palo Alto Department of Public Works.
c. The total development of the rear, 6.1 acre
po~ion of the site, as approved by this zone change and as
silvwn on EXHIBIT A, shall not exceed 130 ,000 square feet of
9ross flcor area.
d. A final landscaping and irrigation plan for

the portion of the property shown on EXHIBIT "A• shall be sub· '
mitted to the Architectural Review Board, and landscaping shall
be installed and continually maintained in accordance with / such approved_plan.
e. No less than 356 parking spaces shall be installed
in conjunction with the development of the portion of the site
shown on EXHIBIT A, and a landscaped parking reserve for 18
additional parkin·g spaces shall be provided, as shown on the
Plan. In the event the Chief Building Official of the City
of Palo Alto determines that the 18 reserve spaces are needed
to provide iadequate parking, the applicant shall· construct
s·uch spaces within 60 days of notification by the Chief Building
Official.
3. Development Schedule:
a. Start of construction within 18 months of the
effective date of Council approval.
b. COmpletion of construction within two years
of start o~ construction.
SECTION 2.. All other provisions of .ordinance No. 2533
not hereby ani.ended shall .remain in full ~orce and effect.
SECTION 3. The council finds that the proposed project
will not have a significant impact upon the environment.
