RESOLVED, by the council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
WHBREAs, ~ursuant to Resolution No. 5472 of Preliminary
Determination and of Intention adc1pted on October 25, 1977, by the
Council of said City, pursuant to·section 13.12.040f Chapt~r 13.12,
Title 13 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code, (analagous to th~
Municipal Iaproveaent Act of 1913), the City Engineer of said City
has filed with the Clerk of this City the written report called for
under said Code and by said Resolution of Preliainary Deteraination
and of Intention which report has been presented by said Clerk to
this council for consideration, and this Council baa considered and
preliainarily·~pproved and confirmed said report and ordered that
the saae stand as the report for the purpose of all subsequent
proceedings bad pursuant to said Resolution of Preliainary
Deter•ination and of Intention.

IT IS PURTBBR ORDiBltBD that the Clerk of this City be, and she
is hereby, directed to give hotice of said hearing by publication
twice in the Palo-Alto Tiaes, a newspaper published and circulated
in said City, and by conspi~uoualy posting a notice thereof along
all the _open streets within the assessment district at not more than
three hundr3d feet apart, and not leas than three in allJ said
posting 3ftd first publication to ~ had and c011.pleted at least ten
days before the date her&in aet for hearing of protests.

or cause to be aailed notice of the adoption of said Resolution of
P:eli•inary Deter•ination and of Intention and the filing of said
report, postage prepaid, at least ten days before the date set for
hearing of sziid protests, to all persons owning real property to be
assessed, whose na11es and addresses appear on the last equalized
assessaent roll for City taxes prior thet~to or as known to the
Clerk which notice shall contain a atateaent of the tiae, place and
purpose of the bearing on said Resoluti~n of Preliainary
Deteraination and of Intention and report and a stateaent of the
total estiaated coat~of the proposed acquisitions and iaproveaenta,
the U10unt as shown by said report to be assessed against the
