HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 5477... 0149A-14a ~ML:KIJ:ar 11/02/77 that OR~~iNAL RESOLUTION N'). 5477 A RESOLUTION OESCRIBING-~hOPOSED BOUNDARIES OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, DIRECTING FILING OF BOUNDARY MAP AND ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM AND THE RECORDATION OF NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT UNDERGROUND .UTILITIES co:NERSION UNDERGROUND OTILI~r DISTRICT NO. 19 RESOLVED, by the Council of th~ City of Palo Alto, California, WHEREAS, this City proposes to undertake proceedings for the formation ~f an assessment district pursuant to Resolution No. 5472 of Preliminary Determination and of Intention adopted by this Council on OCtober 25, 1977. NOW, TBEREPORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: l. The proposed boundaries of said asseRsment district to be assessed in saiJ proceedings, are hereby described as shown on a map of said assesa~ent district on f lle in the off ica of the City Clerk, which indicates by a boundary line the extent of the·territory included in the proposed assessaent district and which shall govern for all details as to the extent of such district, reference to such map being hereby made for particulars. Said aap contains the name of the assessment district and a distinctiv~ designation in words or by nwaber of the district shown thereon. 2. On the original and at least one copy of said map the Clerk shall endorse her certificate evidencing the date and adoption of thi~ resolution. The Clerk shall file the original of such map in her otfice·and, within 15 days after adoption of the resolution fixing time and place of hearing on the formation or extent of said district, and in no event later than 15 days prior to such hearing, shall file a copy thereof with the Co\.1nty Recorder of the County of Santa Clara in which all of such pr~posed asaess11ent district is located. 3. The County Recorder shall endorse on the copy of said map the tiae and date of filing and shall fasten the saae securely in a - book of maps of assessment districts which he shall keep in his off ice. The County Recorder shall index such aap by the name of the entity conducting the proceedings and by the distinctive designation of the district as shown on such map. 4. After canfiraatiun of the assessaent by this council, the City Clerk shall cause to be filed in the off ice of the County Record•~· a copy of the asseasaent dia9ram and shall execute and record a notice of assesa.ent in the off ice of the County Recor~~r of the County of Santa Clara, such notice to be in substantially tbe form provided in Section 3114 -·Of the Streets and Highways Code.
