A RESOLUTIC'N OF PRELIMINARY AP PROV AL OF ENGI ~,EER 'S REPORT
UNDERGROUND UTILI·.l'IES CONVERSIOi\1
UNDERGROUND OTILI·t~ DISTRI~T NO. 19
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of October, 1977, said Council dld
adopt its Resolution No. 5472 of Preliminary Determination and of
Intentior, to acquire and construct impro\l'ements in said City, and
did refer the propcsed acquisitions and improvements to the City
Engineer, he being the officer having charge and control of the
acquisitions and construction of pub~ic improvements in and for ~aid
City of the kind described therein and being a competent person
employed by said City for that putpose, and did th6rein direct said
City En9ineer to make and file with the City Clerk of said City, a
report in writing all as therein more particularly described, under
and pursuant to the Palo Alto Municipal Code:
WRERBAS, said City Engineer has aade and filed with the city
Clerk of said City a report in writing as celled for in said
Resolution of Preliminary Determination and of Intention and under
and pursuant to.said Code, which report has been presented to this Council !or consideration:
WBBREAS, said Council has duly considered s&id repo~t and each
and every part thereof, and finds that each and every part of said
report is sufficient, and that said report, nor any par:t thereof
requires or should be modified in any respect:
NOW, TliBRBFORB, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That the plans and specifications for the proposed
improvements to be made, contained in said report, be, and they are
hereby, preliminarily approved and confiraed.
2. That the Engineer•a estimate of -the iteaized and total
costs and expenses of said acquisitions and improve~ents and of the
incidental ~xpenses in connection therewith, contained in eai~
report, be, and each of thea are hereby, preliminarily apprcved and
confirmed.
3. That the diagram showing the assessment district referred
to and described in said Resolution of Preliminary Deteralnation and
of Intantion and als~ the boundaries and dimensions of the
reapective subdivisions of land within said asaessaent district as
the saae existed at the time of the passage of said Resolution of
Preliminary Determination and of Intention, each of which
subdivisions have been given a separate number upon said diagraa, as
contained in said report: _be, and it _is hereby, pt.aliMinerily _ approved and conf iraed.

4. That the proposed aasesamenta upon the several ·
subdivisions of land in said assessment district in proportion to
the estiaated benefits to be received by auch subdivisions,
respectively, from said acquisitions and improvements, and of the
incidental expenses thereol, aL contaJned in said report, be, and
they are ht!reby, preliminarily approved and confirmed. __ _
S. That the ~aps and lescriptions of the lands and easements
to be acquired, as contained in said report, be, and the same are
hereby, preliminarily approved.
6. That said report sh&ll stand as the Engineer's report for
the purposes of ~11 subsequent proceedinge had pursuant to said
Resolution of Preliminary Deteraination and of Intention.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct co~y of ~ Rasolution duly passed and adopted by the City
council of the City of Palo Alto, California, at a meeting thereof
held on the 7th day of November , 1977, by the following
