RESOLUTION NO. 5469
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING A PRELIMINARY PARCEL MAP POR·PROPBRTY LOCATED
AT 319-321, AHD 327 ADDISON AVENU~, :AND GRAN~ING EXCEPTIONS
SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS
WHEREAS, ll,250 square feet of property.zoned R-2 and
commonly known as· 3·19-·3·21, 327 Addison ·Avenue is prop<)sed to be
divided into two (2) parcels; and,
WHEREAS, .the parcel known. as 327 Addison ·Ave:q.ue 0is required
to maintain a twent.y (20) foot front yard setback,ancl·would fail
to maintain said setback, and the parcel:known as 319-~321 Addison
Avenue is required to have a sixty (60) foot width and maintain a
side yard setback of .twenty (20) feet and would ~ail to meet said
requirements , requiring exceptions from said ·r~~.iremen ts. . . .
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. . The City Council finds that there are special
conditions affecting the subject property; that the exceptions
granted herein are necessary for the preservation,and enjoyment
of a substantial property right of the-petitioner: ·and that the
exceptions granted herein will not be detrimental ·to the public
welfare or -injurious to other property in the·territory in which
this property is situated.
. SECTION 2. , The City Council hereby appi;ov-es. the preliminary
parcel map for the subject property; ·as ·shown on the.-map attached
hereto.and incorpo~ated herein-by this reference, and grants the
exceptions to the requirements 0£ Chapter '-.21.32 of the Palo Alto
Municipal Code required ,as. indicated ·above; ;subj.eat to 'the follow"".'
ing conditions: ·
1. Prior to recorda.tion of the parcel map".the gas line
to 319-321 Addison-Avenue·shall·be relocated to the
sa~~sfaction of ·the·city Utilities Department.
2 .. Prior to recordation of the'pai:;c::el map=the existing
.garage .shall be moved to the-·lot-at :327 Addtson Avenue.
SECTION 3. The Council hereby finds that the project will
not have a s1gn1ficant impact on the environment.
