COMH!NDINC RUTH CAULK BAIRD AS A MDIBU. OP THE RENTAL
HOUSING MEDIATION TASK FOR, HER CONSCIENTIOUS
~~ OUTRTANI>tNG PUBLIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, RUTH CAULK BAIRD has diligently and unselfishly contributed
of her time and taleuu while setving as a member of the Rental Housing
~.ediation Task Force frOfll July 1, 1916 to August 31, 1977; and
WHEREAS, RUTH CAULK.BAIRD has worked untiringly in mediating dispute11
between landlords and tenants and in ot~er activities designed to improve
the quality of rental housing in the community; and
WHEREAS, RUTH CAl1LK BAIRD has made a significant personal contribution
to the community through her efforts in ~a~ilitating harmonious and fair
rental housing relationships among tenants, owners, and managers· in Palo
Alto; and
. WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to express its
appreciation to ltUTH CAULK BAIRD for her outstanding efforts in the public
interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo
Alto hereby expresses its appreciation and commends RDTB CAIJLK BAIRD for
her public service as a member of the Rental Housing Mediation Task Force.
