RESOLUTION or THE COUNCIL or THE C-ITY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING THE PRELIMlNAllY PARCEL MAP FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3793 PARK BOULEVARD, A.ND GRANTING
EXCEPTIONS
_ WHEREAS, 12,086.7 square feet of property zoned R-5 (General
Apartment District-Limited) located at 3793 Park Boulevard,
-hereinafter referred to as the "subject property" is proposed
to be divided into two (2) parcels by relocating the property
line; and _ ---
wHEREAS, parcel l is required by Section 21.32.050 of the
Palo Alto Municipal Code to have a minimum lot area of 6000 sq.
feet and width of 60 feet and fails to have-said minimum dimensions;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. -The City Council finds that there are special
conditions aflecting the subject property and that a lot line
adjustment would provide two more nearly equal-sized lot_s_ of
approximately 6,000 square feet each; that the exceptions granted
herein are necessary for the pres~rvation and enjoyment-of a
substantial property right of the petitioner; and that the
exceptions will not be detrimental to the public welfare-or -
injurious to other property ln the territory in which this pro-
perty is situated.
SECTION"2. The City Council ~ereby approves the preliminary
parcel map for the subject property. as; _shown on the map attached
hereto and-incorporated herein by reference; and grants the necessary
exceptions to the requirements of Section 21.32.050 of the Palo
Alto Municipal Code, as set forth in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. The City Council finds that the proposed project
will not hive a significant impact on the environment.
