RESOLUTION OF"TtlE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
COMMENDING THE OUTSTANDING SEQ.VICE OF
COUNCILMEKBER JOHN V. BEAHRS
WHEREAS, John v. Beahrs served the City of Palo Alto as Councilmember
from 1963 to 1977; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Bea.hrs has -given unselfishly of his time and
talents to provide effective leadership on behalf of the total community;
and
WHEREAS,, through-the efforts and contributions of Council.member Beahrs,
the City continued to occupy a position of eminence in terma of the quality
of service provided to its citizens; and
WHEREAS, The City of Palo Alto desires to recognize the mer:".torious
service of John V. Beahrs.
NOW1 THEREFORE, BE rr RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo
Alto hereby commends the outstanding public service of John V. Beahrs
and records its appreciation as well as the appreciation of the citizens
of this COlllllUnity £or the service and cr~tribution rend~red during his te.rm
on the Council.
