RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
~£NDING SCHEDULE G-1 OF ~HE CITY OF P;\LO ALTO
UTILITIES RATES AND CHARGES PERTAINING TO GENERAL
NATURAL GAS SERVICE .
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as fol-
lows: ·
SECTION t. Pursuant to Section 12.20.010 of the Palo Alto
Municipal Code, Schedule G-l (Gene~al Nat~ral Gas Service) of
the Palo Alto Utilities Rates and Charges hereby is amended to
read as.shown on •sheet No~ ll6ao" attached hereto and incorpor-
ated here in, · ·
SECTION 2. The Council of t.he City of Palq Alto hereby
finds that the en~ctment of this ordinance is not a "project"
within the meaning of that term as defined in Section il.04.130
of the.Palo Alto Municipal Code and, therefore, no environmental
assessment is necessaryo · ·
SECTION J •. The foregoing change shall becOlne effective

leased by the City.

Gas used for reside~tial usage in excess of lifeline allowances will
be billed at the nonlifeline races, continuing from the quantity
reached by the lifeline allowance. Gas used for other than resi-
dential purposes will be billed at the nonlifeline rates.
3. Season3l rate changes: The lifeline.allowances for space heating
w~ll be prorated in the May-and November billing periods based on
the rates of th~ number of days prior to May l and subseq~c to -
October 31 respectively, to the total number of days in the billing
period. -__
