RESOLUTION NO. 5388
RESOLUTION OF T!IE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ORDERING WEED NUISANCE ABATED
WH!REAS, this Council did on March 21, 1977, adopt its
Reaolution No. 5361 declating weeds to be a nuisance and setting
April 4, 1977, at 7:30 p.m., in the City Hall as the time and
place for a hearing of objections to the proposed destruction or
removal of weeds; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution No, 5361, notice
of such hearing was given in the manner provided by law, as
appears from the affidavits on file in the Office of the City
Clerk; and
WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearir.g at the
time therein fixed; and
WHEREAS, o interested persons appeared or filed written
objection against said pr~=eedings or any part thereof, all per-
sons d~siring to be heard were given an opportunity to be herad,
and all matters and things pertaining to sai~ weed abatement were
fully heard and considered by this Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. Any and all objections to the proposed destruction
or removal of such weeds be, and each of them hereby is, overruled:
SECTION 2. The .Division of !rtspectional Services hereby
is ordered to abate such nuisance, or cause the same to be-
abated, as provided in Chapter 8.08 of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code, and to do all other things necessary and authorized in
said chapter.
~ECTION 3. The Council of the City of Palo Alto finds that
none of the provisions of this resolution will have a significant
adverse environmental impact.
