RESOLUTION NO. 5372
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING CAPITAL OUTLAY FUND
CALIFORNIA AVENUE AREA OFFSTREET PARKING DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
as follows:
1. There is hereby created a special fund designated
"California Avenue Area Offstreet Parking District Capital Outlay
Fund", herein called "the Fund", which shall be maintained by the
City Controller as a separate account distinct from all other' funds
of the City.
2. Moneys in the Fund shall be used and withdrawn solely
for the acquisition and construction of traffic and parking improve-
ments with:j.n the Distr:_ct consistent with the City's comprehensive
plan.
3. All fees and charges imposed and collected by the City
in connection with the issuance· of permits for the parking o_f
motor vehicles on any of the facilities of the District shall be
deposited into the Fund.
4 • All or part of the Fund may be shown in the annual
budget for the District, prepared and approved as part of the City
budget, as reserves for fut.ure expenditures in subsequent years
and when so shown shall be identified as to purpose, but need not be
itemized.
5. Any interest earned on the Fund shall accrue to the Fund.
