WJML:KIJ:v 2/24/77/150 RESOLU rt ON NO. 5368 OR~Gl~~f.\L A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PRE~ARATION OF INVESTIGATION REPORT UNDER DIVISION 4 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE WILLOW ROAD PROJECT NO. 74-65 ASSESSMENT DISTRICT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, that the Director of Public Works, a competent person for this pur- pose, is hereby directed to proceed and prepare such information as may be required therefor, to make a report in the form set forth in Division 4 l r the Streets and Highways Code, for the acquisitions and improvements described in Exhibit •A• attached hereto and incor- porated herein by this reference. All as more particularly described in Resolution No. 5367 , ---- A Reso.tution of Preliminary Determination Under Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code, adopted by this COu..'lcil on March 21 1977, to which resolution reference is hereby made for a particular description of the general nature, locatior and extent of the pro- posed acquisitions and improvements, of the boundaries or extent of the district or lands to be specially assessed to pay all the costs thereof, and of the statutes under which the proceedings therefor are proposed to be conducted. * * * * * * * . * * , I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, california, at a meeting thereof held on the 21st day of March , 1977, by the following vote of the members -- thereof: AYES, and in favor thereof, Council.members: Beahrs. Clay, Eyerly, Horton, Witber8poo11 NOES, Counci.ildP,JDbers i eo .. tock ABSENT, Council.members: Sher APPROVED: ~· f}jg _____::::_ qyo APPROVED: to C-- , • ... • a) • DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED ACQUISITIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS WILLOW ROAD PROJECT NO. 74-65 ASSESSMENT DISTRICT The widening and improving of Sand Hill Road from Santa Cruz Avenue to its northeasterly terminus, and Willow Road from said terminus of Sand Hill Road northeasterly to Arboretum Road, by grading and the construction therein of a four-lane road section, 64-feet wide, located within a 90-foot right cf way, with a landscaped median strip, and by constructing therein base pavement, wearing surface, curbs, gutters, storm drainage facilities, street lighting facilities and landscaping improvements, with bicycle paths between the edge of curb and the right of way line, together with such additional acquisitions and improve- ments as may be necessary to mitigate any environ- mental impacts caused by the project . b) The widening and improving of Willow Road f~om Arboretum Road northeasterly to El Camino Real generally along the alignment identified as Align- ment I as shown on the plat on file in the office of the City Clerk, by grading and the construction therein of base pavement, wearing surface, drainage facilities as required, street lighting facilities, landscapi~g improvements, together with such addi- tional acquisitions and improvements as may be necessary to mitigate any environmental impacts caused by the project. c) The acquisition· ~f all lands, easements, facilities and rights and the construction of all work auxiliary to any of the above and necessary to complete the same.
