RESOLUTION 01'' THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
PROVIDING FOR THE WITHDRAWAL OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED
TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS SILVA AVENUE/SILVA COURT NO. 2
FROM THE FREMONT FIRE DISTRIC~
WHEREAS, Section 13952 of the California Health an~
Safety Code a~thorized the withdrawal of t~rritory from a
fire district when such territory is annexed to a city; and
WHEREAS, the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation
COD1nission by its Re&olution No. 76-113, passed end adopted
on June 2, 1976, directed the City of Palo Alto to withdraw
the territory designated as "Silva Avenue/Silva Court No. 2"
from the Fremont Fire District within one year after the
annexation of said territory is complete; and
WHEREAS, on Novemb~r 18, 1976, the City Clerk of the
City of Palo Alto recorded with th~ Recorder of the County of
Sc:nta Clara ~n affidavit of completion of said annexation,
together wit;, ~required documents attached, as i:equired by
Government Code Section 34080;
NOH, THEREFE>RE-, the C\luncil of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE-as follows:
SECTION 1. That certain uninhabited territory known as
Silva Avenue/Silva Court No. 2, described in EXHIBIT A attached
hereto and incorporated by reference herein as though fully
set forth, and ~s shown on the map attached hereto as EXHIBIT B
and incorporated by reference herein as though fully set forth,
hereby is ~-lthdrawn from the Fremont Fire District effective
on March 7, 1977.
SECTlON 2. The City Clerk is directed to file a certified
copy of this resolution with the governing body of the Fremont
Fire District, th~ Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa
Clara, and the County Assessor of the.County of Santa Clara.
SECTION 3. The Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby
finds-tbal this project will have no significaat adverse
environmental impact.

WITHDRAWAL FROM FREMONT FIRE D!STRICT -SILVA AVENUE/SILVA COURT NO. 2
PROPERTY DESCRIPTION:
Beginning at a corner point in the City limits of Palo Alto, said corner
point being the most southerly corner of that certain annexation entitled
Silva Avenue/Silva Court Annexation No. 1, annexed to the City of Palo Alto
on November 18 , 1976, Ordinance No. 2944 , said corner also
being the southwesterly corner of Lot 23, as said Lot is shown on that
certain map entitled "Tract No. 620 Garden Park" which map was recorded OT\
November 61 1950 in Book 31 of Maps at page 13, Santa Clara County,
Celifornia; thence along said City limits line and along the westerly lin~ of
said Lot 23, N. 14° 36' 39" E., 139.05 feet to the northwesterly corner
thereof, said corner also being a point on the southeasterly line of Sllva
Court, also shown on said map of Trar.t No. 620; thence along said City limits
line, along the southeasterly line of said Silva Court and along the n~rthwesterly
line of Lots 23, 24, 25, and 26 of said Tract No. 620 as follows; along
the ate of a curve to the left having a radius of 130.00 feet, through a
central angle of 66° 06' 39" ror an arc distance of 150.00 feet and
0 N. 38 30' 00" E., 65.00 feet to the northerly corner of sai.d lot 26; thence
leaving said southeasterly line of Silva Court S. 51° 30'. 00:1
