RESOLUTION NO. 5352
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY CY PALO ALTO
APPROVING THE MISCELLANEOUS DIVISION OF LAND AT
833 LA PARA AVENUE AND GRANTING EXCEPTIONS
WHEREAS, l~,784.95 square feet of :'roperty zoned R-l
and located at 833 1• Para in the City of Palo Alto, herein-
after referred to as the "subject property" is proposed to
be divided int·_ two (2) lots; and
~S, lots in an R-1 zone district are required by
Section 21.20.110 of the Palo Alto Mvnicipal ~ode to have
a width of si~ty (60) feet and the proposed lots fail to have
this width, requiring an exception from said requirement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds that there are special
conditions affecting the lots 8.f)d that the exceptions granted
herein are necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a
substantial property right of the petitioner, and that the
exceptions granted herein will not be d~trimental to the public
welfarft or inju~ious to other property in the territO=Y L1
which this property is situated.
. SECTION 2. The City Council hereby ~pproves t~e Miscellaneous
Division of LiDd for the subject property, as shown on th~ map
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and grant:s
the. '.l'al:eption to the sixty (60) foot width requirement. as pro-
vi.ded by Chapter 21.28 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby finds that the prop.>sed
project Wiii iot have significant impact on the environment.
