-R.ESOLUTION OF TBE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO ROBU.T J. FORTNEY
UPON HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, Robert J. Fortney retired on January 1, 1977 as Supervisor, Water-
Gas-Sewer after thirty-four years of continuous service with the City of Palo
Alto; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is proud of his work performance and appreciative
of his efforts ·and dedication toward municipal services;
N™, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo Alto
hereby gratefully records its appreciation as well as the appreciation of
the citizens of this cOlllDIUllity for faithful service rendered to th~ City
and extends to Robert J. Fortney its sincere beat wishes for a long and h8ppy
retirement.
