RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ABANDONING A CERTAIN EASEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED THEREOF
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as
follows:
That the easement situated in the City of Palo Alto,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, described more
fully in the Quitclaim Deed attached hereto marked EXHIBIT A
and made a part hereof, acquired from Y. L. and Isabel D.
Rose through a clerical error, is surplus to the City's needs,
has no value, should be and the same hereby is abandoned.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor be and he hereby
is authorized and directed to execute said Quitclaim Deed to
said property for and on behalf of the City and in favor of
Y. L. and Isabel D. Rose, and City Clerk is authorized and
directed to attest his signature and record the same.

QUITCLAIM DEED
For valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged the CITY OF PALO ALTO, a municipal corporation,
does remise, release and quitclaim to Y. L. ROSE and ISABEL
D. ROSE, his wife, the easement and right of way for public
utility purposes in the City of Palo Alto, County of Santa
Clara, State of California, described as follows:
A strip of land uniformly 5 feet wide, lying
adjacent to and southeasterly of the north-
westerly line of Lot 20, Block 9, College
Terrace, a map of which was recorded October 8,
1891 in Book E of maps at page 121, records of
Santa Clara County, California; and extending
from the northeasterly line of Bowdoin Street
to the northeasterly line of said lot.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the above parties have executed
this instrument this 26th day of JAY , 1966.
