RESOLUTION NO, 3906
A RESOLUTION CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING, DETERMINING
THAT THE COUNCIL HAS JURISDICTION TO ACT, AND
TAKING THE PROJECT UNDER ADVISEMENT
UNIVERSITY AVENUE DISTRICT
CIVIC CENTER OFF-STREET PARKING DISTRICT NO. 66-8
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
that
WHEREAS, this Council, on June 13, 1966, adopted its Resolution
No. 3896, A Resolution of Intention to Acquire and Construct
Improvements;
WHEREAS, pursuarst to said Resolution, the City Engineer pre-
pared and filed his report, whereupon said report was preliminarily
approved and a time and place tor hearing thereon duly set by this
Council;
WHEREAS, said hearing has been duly held, oral and documentary
evidence has been presented, all persons desiring to be heard
have been given the opportunity, and this Council is duly advised
in the premises;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That said public hearing is closed.
2. That the Council has acquired jurisdiction to act on
the matter of forming said assessment district and approving the
Engineer's report, ordering the work and acquisitions and con-
firming the assessment.
3. That said Council hereby takes said project under
advisement for consideration at its first regular meeting after
the proposed City-wide election on the question of the relocation
of the Civic Center, presently scheduled for September 26, 1966.

correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the
Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, at a meeting
thereof held on the 18th day of July , 1966, by the
following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Arnold, Beahrs, Comstock, Cooley, F Carson, Rohrs, Rus,
Sher, Woodward, Worthington.
NOES, Councilmen: Debs.
ABSENT, Councilmen: Dias, Flint.
