RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
FINDING AND DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS
NOT BEEN MADE TO THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED
TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "ARASTRADERO HILLS ANNEXATION"
TO THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of June, 1966, the Council of the
City of Palo Alto did pass and adopt Resolution No. 3900 giving
notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory
to the City of Palo Alto said territory being therein designated
as "Arastradero Hills Annexation", said Resolution describing
the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 3900 did contain a notice of
the day, hour and place when and where the Council of the City
would hear protests made by any person owning real property
within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said
hearing being not les.' than forty nor more than sixty days from
the date of passage of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, on the llth day of July, 1966, at the hour of
7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City
of Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of California, said
time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said
Resolution No, 3900 for hearing protests to the said annexation,
said City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the
proposed annexation and did determine that protests had not been
made by public and private owners of one-half of the value of the
territory proposed to be annexed; and

WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Palo
Alto, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Santa Clara.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Council does hereby find and declare
that a majority protest has not been made by public and private
owners of one-half of the value of the territory proposed to
be annexed.
