RESOLUTION NO. 3995
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING SUBMITTAL OF A SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT PUR-
SUANT TO SECTION 186.3 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS
CODE TO AMEND THE SELECT STREET SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto did on
March 23, 1964 approve a report and map on which was desig-
nated the Select Street System for the City of Palo Alto, said
system being the streets on which the City can spend a portion
of the gas tax funds established by Section 186.1 of the
Streets and Highways Code, and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to add to said Select Street
System for the City of Palo Alto, El Camino Real from the City
limits at San Francisquito Creek to the City limits approxi-
mately 1100 feet southeasterly of Adobe Creek and to update
certain other info~tion heretofore supplied the California
Highway Commi~sion relative to its Select Street System.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The Select Street System for the City of
Palo Alto is hereby deemed amended by the addition of El
Camino Real from the City limits at San Francisquito Creek to
the City limits approxfmately 1100 feet southeasterly of Adobe
Creek.
SECTION 2. The City .Engineer is authorized and directed
to file with the Depa~tment of Public Works of the State of
California a map and supplemental report as provided in 186.3
of the Streets and Highways Code, advising of said addition
to the City's Select Street System.
SECTION 3. The City Engineer is authorized and directed
to include in said supplemental report such changes in the

report previously submitted as have occurred as the result of
construction on said Select Street System.
SECTION 4. Except as modified herein, the Select Street
System approved by the Council March 23, 1964, is h~reby
ratified and affirmed.
