RESOLUTION NO. 3973
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING RESOLUTION 2971 TO PROHIBIT PARKING ALONG
MIDDLEFIELD ROAD SOUTH OF OREGON AVENUE
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION 1. The portion of the west side of Middlefield
Road south of Oregon Avenue a distance of 300 feet is hereby
placed under the following parking restrictions:
a. Parking is prohibited at all times in the first
100 feet south of the pedestrian crosswalk.
b. Parking is prohibited between the hours of 11:00 A.M.
to 1:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on weekdays for
the remaining 200 feet.
SECTION 2. The portion of the east side of Middlefield
Road south of Oregon Avenue a distance of 300 feet is hereby
placed under the following parking restrictions:
a. Parking is prohibited at all times in the first
50 feet south of the pedestrian crosswalk.
b. Parking is prohibited between the hours of
7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. on weekdays for the remaindng.
250 feet.
SECTION 3. All directional references herein shall be
based on a premise that the centerline of Middlefield Road runs
north -south.
SECTION 4. Section 6 of Resolution 2971 and the Parking
Sones Map of the City of Palo Alto is amended accordingly.

SECTION 5. Resolution No. 3939 is hereby rescinded.
