RESOLUTION NO. 3970
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO MR. NICK MERCA UPON HIS
RETIREMENT_
WHEREAS, MR. NICK MERCA has served the City of Palo Alto
for the past sixteen years, most recently as Public Works
Maintenanceman III in the Streets Division of the Department
of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto desires to
give him official recognition upon the occasion of his retire-
ment on March 10, 1967.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records the appreciation
of the members of this Council as well as the.appreciation of
the citizens of this community for the long and faithful service
of MR. NICK MERCA to the City of Palo Alto and extends to him
their good wishes for a long and happy retirement.
