HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 3965• 1 RESOLUTION NO.3965 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF BANDERA DRIVE AND RESERVING CERTAIN EASEMENTS THEREIN WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto did on the 9th day of February, 1967, pass its Resolution of Intention to abandon a portion of Bandera Drive in the City of Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of California, as described in EXHIBITS A and B attached hereto and on file with the original of said Resolution of Intention vo. 3959 on file in the Office of the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution a public hearing was duly noticed and held on March 6, 1967; and WHEREAS, from all the evidence submitted the City Council of the City of Palo Alto finds that said portion of Bandera Drive is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes; and WHEREAS, the City Council hereby determines that the public convenience and necessity require that there be expressly re- served and excepted from portions of the street to be vacated pursuant to these proceedings, unto the City of Palo Alto, its successors and assigns, easements described in said exhibits, said easements being for sanitary sewer and storm drainage purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: That the property described in the exhibits attached to said Resolution of Intention No. 3959 is hereby abandoned 3,000 , 4 741)- J½'-713 Li/0? �1 ,__mac-Kcc,�, April 14. 1967 County Recorder Box 738 San Jose. Alto, its successors and assigns, and subject to the pay- ment of all costa of abandonment. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this reso- lution to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Santa Clara County. Said resolution shall not be recorded until all costs of abandonment shall have been paid as stated above.
