RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
COMMENDING ROBERT E. MICHALSKI FOR EXCELLENT AND LOYAL
SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
WHEREAS, Robert E. Michalski has served the City of Palo
Alto for more than fourteen years as its City Attorney; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure, Mr. Michalski was well known
locally as well as nationally for his knowledge of municipal
law and gave generously and unselfishly of his time and talents
in service to his City government and to the entire community;
and
WHEREAS, he has served the City of Palo Alto in a most
dignified, faithful acid impartial manner as its City Attorney;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Michalski, in the performance of his duties
has contributed to the national recognition of the City of Palo
Alto through his knowledge of municipal law, and through his
rare gift of humorous expression; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Michalski resigned his position on February
1, 1967, to assume the post of Legal Adviser to Pacific Telephone
and Telegraph Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto does hereby extend to ROBERT E. MICHALSKI its
grateful appreciation for his long and faithful service and its
beat wishes for good health and continued success in the years
to come.
