RESOLUTION NO. 3959
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
OF ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A PORTION
OF BANDERA DRIVE
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as fol-
lows:
SECTION 1. It is the intention of the Council of the City
of Palo Alto to vacate a portion of a public street commonly
known ::s Bandera Drive in the City of Palo Alto, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, as hown on a map attached
hereto marked EXHIBIT A and further described in EXHIBIT B
attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. It is further the intention of the Council of
the City of Palo Alto to reserve and except from said vacation
an easement in, on, over, across and under said street for the
purpose of constructing, maintaining, operating, replacing,
removing, and enlarging sanitary sewers and storm drains as
described in said EXHIBIT B.
SECTION 3. Monday, the 6th day of March , 1967,.
at 7:30 p.m. Council Chambers, City Hall, Palo Alto, California,
is set as the time and place of hearing where and when any
person having an interest in such proceedings may appear and
present evidence either for or against such vacation.
SECTION 4. All of the proceedings for the vacation of
said street,:and::saidtreservstion of easement,
ducted pursuant to Section 8300 et seq. of the
Highway Code.

SECTION 6. The Clerk is directed to publish a copy of
this resolution in the Palo Alto Times twice prior to the date
of hearing.

PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS LYING ON EACH SIDE OF BANDERA DRIVE
TOGETHER WITH THE 1.00 FOOT RESERVE TO BE, ABANDONED BY THE
CITY OF PALO ALTO
All that certain real property situate in the City of Palo
Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of California, and being
more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most easterly corner of Tract No. 3307,
Palo Alto Hills Unit No. 2, a map. of which is filed in
Book 189 of Maps at pages 20 and 21 in the office of the
Recorder of said Santa Clara County; thence along the easterly
boundary of said Tract No. 3307, S. 15°12'00"W. 150.44 feet;
thence S. 36°38'40" W. along a line parallel to and distant
5.00 feet southeasterly measured at right angles from the
southeasterly line of Bandera Drive 81.84 feet; thence on a
tangent curie to the right having a radius of 360.00 feet
through a central angle of 15°13'23" an arc length of 95.65
feet; thence S. 51°52'03" W. 131.54 feet to a point; thence
leaving said parallel line in a northwesterly direction along
a curve having a radius of 45.00 feet, concave southwesterly,
the center of which bears S. 71°20'19' W. from said last
named point,through a central angle of 109°28'16",an arc
length of 85.98 feet to a point, said point being 5.00 feet
measured at right angles northwesterly from the northwesterly
line of Bandera Drive; thence along a line lying 5.00 feet
northwesterly of and parallel to the northwesterly line of
Bandera Drive, N.51°52'03" E. 173,97,feet; thence on a tan-
gent curve to the left having a radius of 300.00 feet through
a central angle of 15°13'23" an arc length of 79.71 feet;
thence N. 36°28'40" E. 219.91 feet to a point on the northerly
boundary of said Tract No. 3307, said point being 5.00 feet
northwesterly of and measured at right angles from the north-
westerly line of said Bandera Drive; thence along the north-
erly line of said Tradt No. 3307. S. 74°48'00" E. 5,;-37. feet
to the Point of Beginning.
Containing 0.526 acres of land, more or less.

Recorder of said Santa Clara County; thence along the easterly
boundary of said Tract S. 15°12'00' W. 54.71 feet to the True
Point of Beginning; thence continuing along the said easterly
boundary, S. 15°12'00" W. 68.38 feet; thence leaving said easterly
boundary S. 36°38'40" W. 154.08 feet; thence S. 51°52'03" W.
176.02 feet to a point; thence northwesterly along a non -tangent
curve to the left having a radius of 45.00 feet concave south-
westerly, the center of which bears S. 58°14'49' W. from said
last-named print; through a central angle of 32°46'02", an
arc len g'th of 25.74 feet; thence N. 51°52'03" E. 177.09 feet;
thence N. 36°38'40" E. 59.32 feet; thence N. 74°48'00" W.
21.49 feet; thence N. 36'38'40" E, 10.74 feet; thence S.74°
