RESOLUTION NO. 3956
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ADOPTING AND SUBMITTING A BUDGET FOR EXPENDITURE
OF STATE ALLOCATED (ENGINEERING) FUNDS
WHEREAS, a Master Agreement for the Budgeting and
Expenditure of the Engineering Allocation under Section 2107.5
of the Streets and Highways Code has been entered into by
the City of Palo Alto, hereinafter referred to as the
"City", and the State Department of Public Works, Division
of Highways, hereinafter referred to as the "Department";
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has prepared a budget
proposal showing estimated expenditures of such funds
recommended to be made during the 1967-68 fiscal year;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said budget
proposal and is familiar with the contents thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, The Council of the City of Palo Alto
does RESOLVE that said budget proposal dated January 11, 1967,
be and is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed expendi-
tures of the state allocated fundsfor engineering to
cities, said budget proposal to be and the same is hereby
approved and the City Engineer is directed to sign the same
on behalf of said City, and said budget proposal to be
submitted to the Department of Public Works, State of
California, in accordance with the provisions of Section 197
of the Streets and Highways Code.

BUDGET PROPOSAL FOR ENGINEERING FUNDS
The City of Palo Alto pursuant
to Section 2107.5 of the Streets and Highways Code providing for the allocation and expenditure
of State Highway Funds for engineering costs and administrative expenses in respect to city streets
does hereby submit this application"As its budget proposal for the estimated expenditure recom-
mended to be made during the 1900 fiscal year. All work accomplished by this budget shall
be done under the terms of the master agreement covering the budgeting of these funds as executed
on February 29. 1960 .
