RESOLUTION OFTHE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO

ORDERING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC UTILITIES
EASEMENTS IN TRACT 948, GREEN ACRES #2
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Council of the City
of Palo Alto to vacate public utilities easements in the City
of Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of California, as
shown on a map marked EXHIBIT A attached hereto, and further
described in EXHIBM B attached hereto and by reference made
a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby
find that the aforesaid easements have not been used for the
purpose for which they were dedicated or acquired for five
consecutive years next preceding the date of this resolution;
and
WHEREAS, from al/ the evidence submitted to the Council__
of the City of Palo Alto it is found that said easements as
described herein are unnecessary for present or prospective
public utilities and drainagerurpo8,es.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does'
RESOLVE as -follows:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section
50443 of the Government Code of the State of California, the
Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby order that said
easements as described herein be, and hereby are vacated.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy
of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County
Recorder of Santa Clara County.

EASEMENTS TO BE ABANDONED - TRACT NO. 948, GREEN ACRES #2
Those strips of land shown and dedicated as public
utilities and drainage easements on that certain map of Tract
No. 948, Green Acres No. 2 recorded May 13, 1952 in Book 36
of Maps at page 54, records of Santa Clara County, California,
more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL NO. 1
A strip of land 10 feet wide lying adjacent to and
southerly of the northerly line of Lots 86 through 93, and ex-
tending from the southeasterly line of said Lot 86 westerly
to the westerly line of said Lot 93 and designated "10'P.U.E."
on said map.
PARCEL N0. 2
A strip of land 10 feet wide lying adjacent to and
southwesterly of the northeasterly line of Lots 95 through 102,
and extending from the southeasterly line of said Lot 95 north-
westerly to the northwesterly line of said Lot 102, and desig-
nated "10'P.U.E." on said map.
PARCEL N0. 3
Beginning at the most easterly corner of Lot 103 and run-
ning thence N. 61°19'20" W. along the northeasterly line of
said Lot 115.42 feet to the most northerly corner of said Lot;
thence S. 33°33'50" W. along the northwesterly line of said
Lot 103 ar3 its southwesterly prolongation 581.36 feet, to a
point on Tine which is parallel to and distant 10.00 feet
northeasteriy, measured at right angles, from the northwesterly
prolongation of the southwesterly line of Lot 111; thence
S. 12°29'30" E. parallel with said prolonged line 13.89 feet;
thence N. 33°33'50" E. 581.81 feet; thence S. 61°19'20" E.
10'x.38 feet to a point on the northwesterly line of Georgia
Avenue (60 feet wide); thence N. 33°33'50" E. along said last
named line 10.02 feet to the point of beginning; said parcel
being designated "10'P.U.E." on said map.
PARCEL NO. 4
Beginning at the most easterly corner of Lot 122 and run-
ning thence N. 81°00'50" W. along the southwesterly line of
said Lot 113.56 feet, to a point on a line which is parallel to
and distant 10.00 feet northeasterly, measured at right angles
from the southwesterly lint of said Lot 122; -thence N. 12°29'30".
W. along said parallel line 10.02 feet; thence S. 81°00'50" E.
113.56 feet to a point on the southwesterly line of Georgia
Avenue (60 feet wide); thence S. 12°29'30" E. along said last

on said map.
PARCEL NO. 7
A strip of land 10 feet wide lying 5.00 feet on each

RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO

50443 of the Government Code of the State of California, the

easements as described herein be, and hereby are vacated.

of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County
Recorder of Santa Clara County.

Those strips of land shown and dedicated as public
utilities and drainage easements on that certain map of Tract
No. 948, Green Acres No. 2 recorded May 13, 1952 in Book 36
