RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO HIRE THE SERVICES OF
THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF SANTA CLARA COUNTY, IN
CONNECTION WITH THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION AND
ANY SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON MAY 9, 1967.
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as
follows:
WHEREAS, it is the duty of the City Clerk to conduct
municipal elections; and
WHEREAS, the services of an election specialist are
necessary for conducting said elections;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Clerk is hereby authorized to
hire the services of the Registrar of Voters of the County of
Santa Clara, to aid in the conduct of the general municipal
election and any special election to be held on May 9, 1967 in
the City of Palo Alto such services to be of such nature as
said Registrar of Voters is not otherwise required by law to
perform and the City Controller is authorized and directed to
pay the costs of said services.
