HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 5157----------------• • O~IGINAL RESOLUTION NO-5157 RESOLUTIO?f OF THE' COUNCIL" OF THE CITY OF PJS.LO ALTO APPROVING· RESOLUTION NO. 73.;.g-OE i'HE SOOTH BAf DISCHARGERS AOTHORIT! »PROVING ·PAYMENT OF CERTAIN SUMS OF MONEYS RECEIVED BY THE AUTHORITY FROM STATE AND FEDERAL GRANTS TO CERTAIN CITIES AND DISTRICTS The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as fol- lows: WHEREAS, on September 10, 1975, the South Bay Dischargers Authority (SBDA) adopted Resolution No. 73-9 attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated by reference as if set forth at length herein, approving payment of certain sums of moneys re- ceived by SBDA from state and federal grants to certain cities, Palo Alto included, and districts1 and WHEREAS, said Resolution Noo 73-9 shall not be operative or take effect unless or until it has been.approved by certain City Councils, Palo Alto· included~ .by-resolution or other app!fopriate written document· or order; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the council of the City of Palo Alto hereby approves said SBDA Resolution No. 73-9. The Authority desires to return the sum ~ $166.250.00 which it received pursuant to the State grant and Federal grant for reimbursement of 87-1~ of' $190,,000.00 (that porti.on or the cost of the said study eligible tor federal and state grants), shared by the Public Entities,, to those Pub1ic Ent1.t:1es who shared the initial cost thereof' pursuant to the Cities Agreement and Henl.o Agreement, said money to be prorated among sai.d Public Ent1.t1es in the same proportion as the;y shared the 1n1.tial cost pursuant to the Ci.ties Agreement and Me?J.o Agreement.
