RESOLUTION NO.
ORDERING THE VACATION OF AN EASEMENT FOR.ALLEYS, .

WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Council of the City of
Palo Alto to vacate a certain easement for alleys, pedestrian
lan~s, streets and pole lines in the City of Palo Alto, County
of Santa Clara, State of California, as described in EXHIBIT B
attached hereto a~d shown on a map marked EXHIBIT A attached
hereto and by reference made a part hereof; and NO FEE
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby
find that the aforesaid easement has not been.used for the
purpose for which it was dedicated or acquired for five consecutive
years next preceding the date of this resolution1 and
WHEREAS, from all the evidence submitted to the Council of
the City of Palo Alto, it is found that $aid easement as des-
cribed herein is unnecessary for present or prospective alley,
pedestrian lane, street or pole line purposes; . ..
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION l. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 50443 of
the Government Code of the State of California, the Council df
the City of Palo Alto does hereby order that said easement as
described herein be, and hereby is, vacated.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby determines that this is not
a project as defined in Section 11.04.130 of the Palo Alto
Municipal Code and therefore no environmental impact assessment
is necessary.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall cause a certif_ied copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Off ice of the County
" Recorder of Santa Clara County.

southwesterly line of said lot 12, distant thereon
120.66 feet southeasterly from the southeasterly line
of Cambridge Avenue, 60 feet wide, and running thenc~
northeasterly and parallel with the northwesterly
line of California Avenue, to the southwesterly line
of Park Boulevard excepting the southwesterly 20
feet of said 10 foot strip of land, being a•-portion of
