RESOLUTION NO. 5153
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO JOHN DE VERA
UPON HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS 1 John DeVera retired on October 6, 1975 as Leaf Truck
~ Operator after twenty-four years of continuous service with the City
of Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, the Ci~y Council is proud of his work performance and
appreciative of his efforts and dedication toward municipal services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo
Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation as well as the appreciation
of the citizens of this community for faithful service rendered to the City
and extends to John Devera its sincere best wishes for a long and happy
retirement.
