COMMENDING PETER SCHWARTZ AS A MEMBER OF THE RENTAL
HOUSING MEDIATION TASK FORCE FOR HIS CONSCIENTIOUS
AND OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, P~TER SCHWARTZ has diligently and unselfishly contributed of
his time and talents while serving as a member of the Rental Housing Mediation
Task Force frorn July 1, 1974 to August 31, 1975; and
WHEREAS, PETER SCHWARTZ has worked untiringly in mediating disputes
between landlords and tenants and in other activities designed to· improve the
quality of rental housing in the community; and
WHEREAS, PETER SCHWARTZ has made a significant personal contribution
to the community through his efforts in facilitating harmonious and fair rental
housing relationships among tenants, owners, and managers in Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Pa1o Alto wishes to express its
appreciation to PETER SCHWARTZ for his outstanding efforts in the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo
Alto hereby expresses its appreciation and commends PETER SCHWARTZ for his
public service as a member of the Rental Housing Mediation Task Force.
