RESOUTrION OF 1llE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
CoMMENDING NANCY MAHONEY AS A MEMBER OF 11-IE RENTAL
HOUSING MEDIATION TASK FORCE FOR HER CONSCIENTIOUS
AND OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE

WHEREAS, NANCY MAHONEY has diliaently and unselfishly contributed of
her time and talents while servinz as a member of the Rental Housing Mediation
Task Force from July 1, 1974 to August 31, 1975; and
WHEREAS, NANCY MAHONEY has worked untiringly in mediating disputes
between landlords and tenants and in other activities designed to -improve the
quality of rental housing in the community; and
WHEREAS, NANCY MAHONEY has made a siginificant personal contribution
to the community through her efforts in facilitating harmonious and fair rental
housing relationships among tenants, owners, and managers in Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to express its
appreciation to NANCY MAHONEY for her outstanding service as Chairwoman of the
Rental Housing Mediation Task· Force and for her efforts in the public interest;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo
Alto hereby expresses its appreciation and commends NANCY MAHONEY for her public
service as a membe~ of the Rental Housing Mediation-Task Force.
