RESOLUTION NO. 5138 e ORIGINAL RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO A!-fE?IDING RESOLUTION NO. 5114, ADOPTED JULY 28, 1975, ADOPTING A COMPEHSATION PLAN FOR CERTAIN TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES QUALIFYING FOR EMPLOYMENT UNDER THE FEDERAL COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINIUG ACT TER~UHATIUG JUNE 30, 1976 WHEREAS. pursuant to Section 12 of Article III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council of the City of Palo Alto on July 28, 1975, did pass Resolution No. 5114 adopting a Compensation Plan for Classified Personnel; and WHEREAS) the City of Palo Alto desires to amend said Compensation Plan by adding thereto a compensation plan for certain temporary employees qualifying for employment under the Federal Comprehensive Employment and Training Act, funding fo~ which· terminates on June 30, 1976; NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: SECTION 1. The Compensation Plan, as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference hereby is adopted for certain temporary employees qualifying for employment under the Federal Comprehensive Employment and Training Act. SECTION 2. Resolution No. 5114 hereby is amended as set forth in Section ! above and in all other respects shall remain in full force and effect as originally adopted. SECTION 3. The Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby finds that the enactment of this resolution is not a "project" within the meaning of that term as defined in Section 11. 04.130 of the Palo Alto Municipal - Code, and, therefore, no environmental assessment is necessary.
