WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 12 of Article III of the Charter.
of the City of Palo Alto. the City Council of the City of Palo
Alto did on August 20, 1973, adopt Resolution No. 4814 adootin2
Compensation Plans for Counci'l-Appoint~d, .Mapagement,.and Confidential
Personnel which was amended by Resolution 4957 on June 25, 1974
and further amended as to Council-Appointed Officers only by
Resolution 4984 on August 5, 1974;
NOW, THER.EFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto doe$
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The Compensation Plan, as set forth in EXHIBIT A is amended as to Council-Appointedoffice.~s as follow~:

-SECTION 2. Said salaries set forth in Section 1 shall be
effective June 22, 1975, and shall continue in effect until amended
or revoked by the Council. In all other respects Reaolution 4814,
as amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. Resolution 4984, adopted August 5, 1974, as.
hereby· rescinded.
